Our last few days in Koh Samui we spent alot of the time on the beach. We also went on a tour around the island on a 4X4 sitting on the roof. First we saw grandma and grandpa rocks which are shaped like male and female genitalia, we couldnt help but laugh. Then we next went and saw a mummified monk at a temple which was quite strange. We next went to the animal show where we saw an elephant monkey and crocodile show. Even though it was all very clever and entertaining to watch we couldn't believe how cruel it seemed compared to africa. In Africa the animals were treated with alot of respect but in thailand it seemed to be more about entertainment and money. We then went on a cable ride through some tree tops before heading to the waterfall which had some amazing views and we even got to swim in it afterwards. We enjoyed some thai cusine for lunch on top of a mountain and then headed to the magic gardens and saw another waterfall, before ending the day at the big buddah! It was great to see all around the island!
On monday we got a boat and coach to Bangkok and arrived on Tuesday where we are spending our last few days in Thailand. Today we went to the Floating market which was really surreal to do shopping from a boat but quite relaxing. Afterwards we went and saw a cobra show, thinking we were clever sitting in the front row but it got a little bit close for comfort when there was jumping cobras diving towards us. The men were absolutly crazing one even picked up a deadly cobra with his mouth!
Its our last day in Bangkok tomorrow and we hope to head to the Grand Palace! Then off to Australia on saturday!
