PS For all those who want to see Neen in action swimming the mile go to:
www.actionphoto.net
Select the race as Halfway - Telkom Midmar Mile 2007 and enter the race number as 18279.
You should see 4 lovely photo's of the man!!! His final finishing time was 45 minutes which considering that they cancelled the final race of the day because of the water conditions was pretty good going! I would of drowned half way - no who am I kidding 200 metres in :)

Thanks for all the praise for Neen - very proud of him :)
BTW - some photo's have not been rotated depending on the version of IE depends on whether I can do this when I upload photo's. So you will need to turn your head to the side :)

Congratulations Euge! Welldone! How come you're in the 31+ and not in the "just before 40"? Ha ha ha!!! Still Jacqui I think you should be proud of the old boy. Good to see you're having fun. Keep on!
Bev, Mark And Michael
Dear Jacqui and Neen,
The website looks fab - grt to see all the photos and new entries, makes us feel as though we are with you. I've even had a few tears, much to Michael's surprise. Sorry we missed your call last weekend but we had gone over to see Helen and Flo. Hopefully speak to you soon.
As you know we had a lot of snow about a week ago. So much that Michael's nursery was shut for a day and a half. He had grt fun in the snow, pelting Mark with snowballs and shouting "bullseye". he is much better now, still a bit of a cold though. Unfortunately I have had it for about a week... never mind. Mark is fine and its a good job one of us is. We are off to see John and Mand in their new house today and are staying over - Michael is very excited at the thought of 3 other children to play with, not sure about getting them to sleep though.
No other news to report, give our love to all and we look forward to speaking to you soon.
Lots of love
Bev, Mark and Michael

Thanks for all the messages. DJ - please be careful with entries on the message board!!!! What are you like? I am sure it was you not Rachael that said that about Debbi's name!!!!!!
Dina - glad you are enjoying the photo's!!! His hair is also getting greyer!!!
Rach - we have seen the weather on the BBC. Nice I am so glad I missed that.
Rach
It's snowing here!!! 4 inches yesterday and loads more today. We are just waiting for Dali to send us home early :)
Hope you are enjoying the sunshine xx
Dina
Loved the pictures! Euge you'd better hurry with the ring, hair turns grey.
DJ
Wow, and the journey has just begun. Photos are stunning and journal entries are making us jealous.
Rachael says Debbie Le Roux sounds like a strip joint and I agree, at the very least a tranny hooker! Red wine and coke - how could you! No wonder you don't remember the name - who are you?
By the way your decaf is sitting unused since the day you left which I am sure you are extremely concerned about now that I've mentioned it.
Dina
Hi Jacqui and Euge,
I hope you're well and enjoying your trip. Looking forward to more photos. I really enjoy your site as I keep up with you and your family as well. I read this during working hours too...and it's very relaxing!
Take care,
Dina

Hi JC and Euge,
just enjoying the updates on your site and have received your postcard. It all sounds wonderful and we are very jealous. I hope Neen isn't doing too much training for his swim - make sure he takes it easy.
I was up in Leyland on Tuesday night - tell the parents that the house is all fine if a little cold! Should be able to get one more visit in before they return.
We are all well, back into the routine of working life. Mark and Michael have just gone off to Sainsbury's and I am cleaning the office (but I wish I hadn't started...). On the plus side I have found the Portugal dates in amongst the mess. We have a kid's party at 3pm today, so looking forward to a few hours of Michael on a sugar rush.
Enjoy the next leg of your trip, Michael will be sticking a star on the map later. Hopefully speak to you soon, have tried Neen's mobile but it has been switched off.
Love to all and missing you lots
Bev
Jacqui
Thanks all for the messages -just a couple of things!!!
I knew DJ would pick up on spelling errors!! You know what I am like I can't be bothered to re read things!! Do you want admin rights to change things????
Mary P - come join us :)
Bev - glad the trip home went well. Now don't be working too hard we expect lots of emails and text messages. Missing the whole stringer family lots.
Mrs Mc - kicking you say wish I was there. So excited for you!! Miss you all.
DJ
Hi Jacs, missing you loads and think of you every day. My wife is getting suspicious though when I moan out your name during the night. At least it's not during sex!(yet).
It sounds like you are all having a fab time and I'm sure you will be able to swing Euge into getting you that diamond.
Please keep on top of the spelling and grammatical mistakes as I can't red pen web pages!
I notice that Mary P has posted her message during working hours so will take this up with her manager.
It has been really windy here in the UK - 12 people have died - reminds me of windy Welllington - make sure you go to the top of Victoria Mountain (more of a hill really) when you get there, as you seem to like your views, and you will be able to see virtually all of the city.
Take care both,
Love DJ
