On the 11th we left Bangkok for a 9 hour trip across the border into Cambodia. We had 2 minibuses for our group. We set off at 7.30am which is very early when you got to bed at 3am. On the 6th saw a short bus ride back to Bangkok. The girls in the group headed off to look at the shops near Siam Square and try and find some electrical bargains. It was good fun trying to spot fake ipod's from real ones!!!! Neen was not feeling too well after picking up Jacqui's cold so he stayed home. That night we all went for a farewell dinner and drinks. The 3rd was go slow day - we arrive in Ayuthuya at 5am and headed off to the hotel to get some sleep. It was 40 degree's and toooooo hot!!!!! We headed off to look at some ruined temple's - the picture of the budda's head above is one we saw! They are some of the oldest temples in Thailand. On the 2nd we caught the bus back tp Chaing Mai ready for our overnight train to Ayuthaya. Had a quiet afternoon lookng around the shops whilst Neen explored the city a little bit more. We headed off for our overnight train with an ungodly wake up call of 4.30am!!!!!!!!
