On the 30th we wanders around South West Rocks -lovely little beaches, wild kangaroo's so Jacqui was very happy , nice lighthouse with views over the national park. For lunch we stopped at Frederickton for Freddo's famous pies - mmmmmm. We had a prawn and garlic sauce pie, kangaroo pie and thai chill beef. On the 29th we headed off to see the lighthouse at Byron Bay. The walk up was beautiful - we saw dolphins, large manta rays, surfers and lots of turquoise sea. Very nice. Then we headed off to drive down the coast getting closer to Sydney. We went to Maclean which is a small scottish town that is very pretty. The drive was nice with lots of rivers and lakes and greenery along the way. We arrived at South West Rocks and checked into a cute Motel

Today was a pretty long day - Jacqui managed to leave her passport in Agnes Water in a drawer! So we drove all the way up and then soldiered on to the Byron Bay. 8 hours driving!!!!!! Nice Jacqui was pooped. The place we stayed was OK - not the best but we had the best dinner at a posh fish restaurant. It was very tasty.

Today we 27th we headed down to Noosa heads a 400km trip. When we arrived in Noosa we headed out the heads and what a surprise we got. Though a little forest we walked out to where the sea meets a river and there was a lovely golden beach. We watched a great sunset. That night we stay at our first YHA - nice room to ourselves in an old Queenslander house - a bit cold beacuse it rained all night. We headed off to see Pirates of the Carribean 3 which we enjoye...

On the 24th we went off to pick up the hire car and drive a nice few hours - 5 to be precise up to Agnes Water - a small town on the southern part of the Great Barrier Reef. It was dark by the time we hit the town so it took a while to find the Motel. Our unit was massive a whole apartment to ourselves with kitchen dinning room and lounge!! Luxury.On the 25th we got some provisions in and headed off to explore the surrounding area's. We headed off to the Town...
