On the 31st we took the coastal drive to Sydney - it was really nice some moutains to go over as well. We headed over to Palm beach to sample the best fish and chips Neen has ever had. On the 30th we wanders around South West Rocks -lovely little beaches, wild kangaroo's so Jacqui was very happy , nice lighthouse with views over the national park. For lunch we stopped at Frederickton for Freddo's famous pies - mmmmmm. We had a prawn and garlic sauce pie, kangaroo pie and thai chill beef. On the 29th we headed off to see the lighthouse at Byron Bay. The walk up was beautiful - we saw dolphins, large manta rays, surfers and lots of turquoise sea. Very nice. Then we headed off to drive down the coast getting closer to Sydney. We went to Maclean which is a small scottish town that is very pretty. Today was a pretty long day - Jacqui managed to leave her passport in Agnes Water in a drawer! So we drove all the way up and then soldiered on to the Byron Bay. 8 hours driving!!!!!! Nice Jacqui was pooped. The place we stayed was OK - not the best but we had the best dinner at a posh fish restaurant. It was very tasty.
