Today started with a relaxing morning. I got up at about 9.30am and had breakfast on my own.
When I returned from breakfast I had a leisurely swim in the lagoon with the fishies.
I painted my toenails on the balcony and when Michael was up we decided to head to the Moorea golf course in the early afternoon.
We arrived at golf about 2.30pm, and finished up about 6pm, enjoying a drink with a few locals at bar miki miki. During the last 9 holes a few local kids came to sell us some golf balls they collected off the course. Michael paid 500francs for a bag! Haha, very enterprising little kids.
A local Polynesian lady who'd had a few too many was enjoying herself dancing around the bar. We got chatting to the locals who recommended we try the mahogany restaurant nearby for dinner, so we did. We catch the transfer there and met a group of 6 Canadian people, who were all a laugh, when we arrived we decided to all eat together. We enjoyed a few maitai's and I had confit duck with mash potatoes and Michael enjoyed a rack of lamb with potato gratin and veggies.
We caught a taxi home, and when the driver dropped us off, he just made up a fare, asking for 600francs, then only took 500 when we didn't have all the notes. Very funny.
A quiet drink in our room and bed.
