Well being the average backpacker, we flew Executive Business class to Mexico City. I kid you not - it was fab. We were offered drinks even before the plane had taken off!!! When I asked for a glass of red wine, they asked which one - music to my ears. It was superb. We took our last Viazul bus complete with a driver who looked like a villain from a Bond movie - when he smiled he exposed his teeth of gold!!!!!!We met Ally and Clare on the bus - 2 Brits also coming to the end of their Cuba travels.We ended up having one of the best meals of the trip with them.They were also kind enough to donate local currency to our reducing pot of money.This provided much needed peso food - local food stalls which sell amazing pizzas. On arrival to Cienfuegos we were chuffed to find out our taxi was a Vintage Black Chevy with red leather seats.It was way cool and we felt like the bees knees all the way to the Casa.The Casa was strange; the owners had a fascination with plastic animals.There were crabs, lizards, crocodiles, frog (you name it) hiding all over the garden.The only real animal was the turtle swimming in the pool.I'm not sure way I had no fear but I can only put it down to the heat....

We had real tribulations getting here.Went we arrived in Camaguey we had tried to purchase bus tickets but were told this was impossible we would have to turn up on the day an hour before the bus and then we would be able to get tickets.We arrived at the appointed hour to be told we could not buy tickets until the bus had arrived and they knew how many seats were available.You may be wondering at this moment how wonderful my Spanish must be getting for me to unde...
