Well that's the first month of the year gone already! We left at about 9 am this morning heading for the holy city of Pushkar. We arrived at the hotel around 12 and I checked in before takking a walk around the city and stopping of for a bite to eat at, you guessed it, another rooftop restaurant! The view and food were both amazing but as this was another holy city there was no meat or alcohol aloud. I headed back to my hotel for 3pm as I was going on a camel safari to the outskirts of the Indian desert. At first it was boring but when the camel picked up a bit if pace and got to the desert it was something else. This lasted a few hours and on the way back we stopped at a little shack and had a few beers as this is outside of the city. I got back about 6 30 and then got changed to go out for dinner. I headed out and couldn't be bothered to walk into the city so I offered a bloke 20 rupees to run me in on the back of his bike. We started riding when he randomly asked "do you smoke weed" I felt quite drunk after the strong beer so I said yes. He ended up taking me to this temple where I sat and meditated whilst he stroked my head with a dead tigers paw. That was defiantly the most weird situation known to man! After this we smoked the joint before he dropped me off at the same restaurant I had lunch. Me thinking being it will be packed with travellers as I saw a couple in the at lunch time. But no. There was no one, so I ate my food and got a tuk tuk back to the hotel before having an early night as I would have to be up at 7am!
