Sounds like you are having a fantastic time. Next stop Singapore. Gald you enjoyed the diving. Kayaking sounds as though it was great fun too. It is so wet and stormy here at the moment that we could almost kayak into Kingswinford!!!! Our phone has been out of action due to the storms and that is with underground cables.
We came back from a holiday in France last week. Went to Amiens and enjoyed meandering around the Christmas markets. Put us in the spirit of Xmas. We have Col's mom's Xmas bonanza this weekend in Leicester so will go early to watch the WBA match on Sky on the way. Mark has just finished exams again so is probably out letting his hair down as I write this.
We told Faisal that you had had a fantastic thai curry, he said to ask you what the recipe was and he would do it here!!!! He wasn't joking but I doubt you would have asked what was in it and how it was cooked!! He didn't seem to understand that.

Liz, forgot to tell you last time, we enjoyed a lovely trip to London to see Connie Fisher at the Palladium in The Sound of Music, don't know if u followed the prog on ITV How do u solve a problem like Maria? She was ace and the whole weekend was thoroughly enjoyable!! Anyway, Granny Flat going well, you'll notice a bit of a difference by the time u come back - sure u don't wanna think bout that yet, your adventure has only just begun! Can't wait to hear all bout Oz! Keep your journal comin' and take care of yourselves. Its my day off 2mrrw so gonna plan on havin' a snooze! Famous last words..................

Hey Jack and Liz, how goes it?

Well I'm sat here on this Sunday evening watching Planet Earth, what a show by the way!
Feeling bit ropes after night out in Boro with David!
Don't worry, you didn't miss much. It was pretty dead what with Xmas approaching! Still drank a silly amount of vodka and aftershocks though and had a good stomp so all in all can't complain!
Anyway I've just been scrolling through call lists, messages etc as you do after a heavy night and came across your web address I'd stored on Jack's last night. By the way Jack you must have given me it wrong as took me ages to find you guys, or maybe I took it down wrong. Who knows who's to blame, we'll just blame that pesky alcohol stuff hey!! :-) so thought I'd have a look.....
Wish I'd not bothered now as feel even more depressed than I did earlier! Oh Liz.... if only you'd had a bigger backpack!! I'm sooooooooooo jealous!!!!
No seriously, it all looks and sounds wkd. I wish I'd been elephant trekking today!!

Not much to report from here really, I'm up to my ears in reindeer, street entertainers and all other Xmas nonsense as I've organised and I'm now managing a 5 week Xmas festival in Stockton town centre. Very stressful but great experience!
As for David, he's busy spending most days glued to his new Xbox 360. He's got a new job basically doing the same thing but for another company (better money and new beamer, check that boy out!) to start in Feb so he's left Carfone and is now on 3 months garden leave. He's getting paid stacks of cash for playing comp and drinking lots. Alright for some hey!!
He'll hopefully be in his new house before Xmas too.

So you're off down under soon hey, watch out for the crocs!
I'll look forward to reading about your Ozzy adventures in due course.
Right that's it from me for now, I'm off to pester David into going travelling with me some time in the next 5 years!!!!

Hi there both! How u doin'? Just taken a kwik look at your update and pic of the beautiful beach at Koh Phi Phi! Looks gorgeous! Is that where Kofi An An lives? Only jokin'! Well I'm sittin' at me desk for another 4hours! It's grey and cold and rainin' but I hope that doesn't make you both feel toooo homesick!
The builder has made a brill start on the refurb, windows shud be in 2day and Sparky comin too, so we can look forward to having no power all day 2day! Wot was I just saying bout cold and rainin? Must be mental! Anyway, carpets r chosen and well on the way to fire and cooker......only lights and bedroom/bathroom/toilet fittings etc etc to sort then! No pressure there then!!

Do you realise that your holiday is turning into a cartoon medley ? The Chimpunks meets Leonardio DiCaprio ! The tree-house looks like it is from the set of a Scooby-Doo cartoon, and your seven-foot vegetarian leopard shark sounds like it has escaped from Finding Nemo. Anyway, how did you know it only ate plankton ?

It was great to talk to Jack on the phone on Saturday, although I never know what to say. Time seems to short and so expensive, and our news so dull and trivial in comparison.

It sounds like the trip is turning out to be everything you hoped it would be. It all looks absolutely perfect. I love the photo of Jack in the waterfall pool.

Sorry to hear that Jack is back to spitting his food out. But perhaps if you dont eat fish, fish wont eat you. This arrangement has worked for me with sprouts for years.

Pilch came up at the week-end. We went to see Darlo v MK Dons on Saturday. I realise that I have been spoilt watching Premiership football for so long. Nice stadium, no fans, terrible game, horrible weather, no atmosphere - and it still cost £16 each to get in, plus another £5 to park. At least it is no longer called the George Reynolds Arena.

Meths lost 2-0 in the cup on Sunday to top-of-the-table Acklam. At least this means we can concentrate on being bottom of the league. Reuben is bringing a Brazilian friend along for a trial this Thursday. He had better be good.

Just off to build a hammock on Redcar beach.

Hi there me Beauties! How u both doin'? sounds like you're havin' some fun! Liz you look really tanned already and the pics of the sunsets are really awesome! Its been cold and raining here but nevermind, we are settling in really well now, it feels like we've always lived here! The builder starts on tues and he's got his plumber and sparky sorted too, and so we'll be full steam ahead with the Granny Flat! Even got the stannah lift sorted! We asked if it as possible to build a shoot from the top of the stairs straight into the double bed, but that was too ex£pensive!!! Lol!!!
Been to work this morning to keep the wolf from the door but was ok! Do you remember wot that is?!! You enjoy yourselves, while I go and devour our Sunday roast and will be in touch soon!!
