17th June 2010.
So...today was the beginning of our training for tackling the West Highland Way at the end of August. The temperature did not help with the sun beaming down on us all day at about 20+ degrees. We designed a route that we would walk, taking us from the town of Cupar, through Bobo's home village of Ceres and then out through the steep countryside to my house in the small village of Kettlehill. The route was around 13 miles long which enabled us to see how we would manage with the distance considering that we would have to average 20 miles a day to complete the West Highland Way in 5 days.
Lets just say we had lots of banter on our walk but the legs this morning are quite stiff.
