Finally got hold of your round the world website address....at last even though i am about 6 months behind on your journey (opps!). Brizil looks fantastic in particular your loverly swim suit pics - model of the year????
Since i have a alot of reading of your postcards/photo alblums where are you now???? The last few months i kept thinking..."where is Simki today?....What's she up to?.....hmmmmm?" I did think about texting you but was not sure if i would get through to you if the signal in the far east was not good!
How did you celebrate Christmas and is your mum still missing you or has she got use to your absence? "Absence makes the heart grow fonder". This year is busy already, both my brother (May) and sister (Steptember) are getting married (my parents hair will go grey very quickly! hee hee). Also waiting to see if i am going to uni from UCAS while spending 2 nights a week at kingston college doing A'Level biology & working full time (a bit knackered at the mo! - dreaming of sunny Fuji!!!)
Well this i s my !st message to you....take care...look after yourselves....get home/travel saftly

Hey aman! Just read your latest postcard, sound great abt the deaf camp and organising fun games. I likes Marts ideas abt one group called the Lions and the other Zebras! Can paint their faces to represent their group like black and stripes etc! Bit likes Shipwrecked Island on Ch 4, held in Fiji, two islands are battling each other for the top! Anyway, I was thinking, maybe you could play one of the games called Chinese Whisper, but in a deaf way! You know, everyone in 6th forms always get involved in that game! Get people to queue up in another room or somewhere else they can't see. In the other room, the two players have to think about what they should performs, it could be embarrssing and hilarious acting, like a silly dance routine. When they are ready to perform, bring the first two couple in and watch their performance, and have to copy it quickly, then bring the second couple in and they watch the first couple and have to copy the performance for the next couple and so on, until the last couple. Then in the end, the orginal couple who started the performance have to know whether if its correct or not, by showing the orginal performance to everyone in the room. We can all go ahhhh, i see! As far as I am concerned, no one never get the orginal performance right!
It is one of my fave games for larger group of people and its certainly helps to prevent boredom at MH!
Although am sure you will have plenty of great ideas for this camp!
Have fun! mwa xxx

Ohhh...how could I forget...[...soothing wobbly legs (after the rigour of Mt Kinabalu) at Poring Hots Spring, shooting rapids ...] curse me not for it's written at ungodly 0300 hours...*sigh*

Geewheez...it was fantastic knowing you both Aman & Kirsty and that was just a few hours ago! Wow...you must have had a blast time visiting those countries. Laidback as it is, I trust Sabah has a lot to offer - Mt Kinabalu climbing, soothing wobbly legs (after the rigour of Mt Kinabalu), shooting rapids at Padas River, scuba diving around the scattered nearby islands, meeting our cousins (those of us whose inclination tilts towards Darwinism ;p) at Sepilok, Sandakan, and many more...
Oh yes, Andy and I will be around in case you both need assistance :) I am just one e-mail away!
Martine
Aman, perhaps you should use some of the activities we did when we went to Tirabad, you know getting everyone to stand in a circle then sit down? and those "co-operating" games, but I can't seem to remember them on top of me head! Maybe you should have a mini challenge games and split everyone in the camp into 2 teams- one team called the Lions and the others the Zebras?! hehe! xxx
