The Rydges breakfast room is filling up this Australia Day. I wonder how many of these casually dressed people were chooffed off their flight last night like I was?

There was a time it would have caused me stress and pissed off my ex who would invariably have given me incredible s*** for it. Now that I'm one of the footloose and fancy free I don't have to worry about it. Aside from washing my undies in the sink last night and hanging them on the balcony to dry, it's all well and truly in the region of "meh". I like that ....

Free coffee and toast, check. Interestingly I could have had a burger at 2am this morning from the 24 hour menu, I wonder how many people do that? It's now 10am and I am going to walk around until I'm knackered or it reaches around 4pm, whichever comes first. Can't get a flight until 8pm and that was lucky!

Walking about in my dress I wore yesterday, hmm could get ugly, better go shopping, yes! Settle, petal, four dresses and four new pairs of knickers later, we'd better get out of here. Besides, things ate getting busy outside in the mall, exit stage left before we have to watch "comedy" on the makeshift stages. I love Australia but draw the line at standing on sidelines and waving a flag with a Moronic grin on my face.
