me and my sis went to London this weekend, from the 12th to the 15th of june ;) It was first fun and then it became maybe too much "big city life" for us... but we had a great tree and a half day there:):)
we went sight seeing and shopping, took the underground and the buses everywhere in London, actually to take a regular dobbeldecker bus in London is good!! you get to see alot and if you have an "oyster-card" it wan't cost a thing ;) but it migt take a long time! ;)
we were lucky because the 14th of june, saturday, they celebrated the queens birthday - so we saw the royal family from a distance--- and i started waveing to some people at the top of the castel - thought they took pictures-- haha that was the SWAT-team :) haha.... I stoped waveing at once!! and after that we dined at a lovely little italian resturant in Buckhingham road.. and then we went to westminster Catedral and lukily for us the westminster Choir where singing and there were a mess! It was packed with people and the Choir sang beautifully so it's a recommadation to hear!!
and also we got to see a parade of the "World's Naked Bikers Day" :) haha yes most of them where totally naked!!! daring people if you ask me :) :)
London also has some good indian resturants!! friendly staff both places.. but the one in kings Cross -- not far from the Journey's Kings Cross Hostel and the Undderground Station - was the cheapest + they gave us a drink on the house ;)
so we stayed at the Journey's King Cross Hostel - a very nice hostel - we stayed in an 8 female dorm. .. friendly and helpful staff!! I'll be back :)
