FIJI - Beautiful Arrived in Nadia after yet another 10 hour flight, during which we meet Howard whos travelling to Fiji and he's from Exeter of all places. Its the 3am when we arrive at the airport and we have one little problem. We have no accomadation booked! Say our goodbyes to Howard and sort out somewhere to stay. Nadia isnt the nicest of places in fact its quite run down and we have to kill some time so we go into town to watch the All Blacks 2nd team play the Fijian 2nd team. This turns out to be a mud bath as torrential rain hits right at the start of the match. Anyway Fiji win 17-11. Next day and we book out and head out to the harbour for our 4 days in Kuata (small island in the Yasawa range) Turns out we have turned up a day early! So we create a rule: No more making decisions when we're pissed We had persuaded ourselves that we we're going a day earlier the night before whilst a little to drunk. It doesnt really matter as we blag our way on and decide that it was better than spending another night in Nadia. 4 days of snorkling, visiting local villages, drinking the local "Carba or Carva" (cant remember what it was called just that it is a mild narcotic), sunning on the beach, getting pissed with Ozzies and saying "Bola" (hello in Fijian) a lot. This all ends to soon and we find ourselves back in Nadia waiting for our flight to Auckland.
