There is just one world and one golden sun and theres laughter and friendship for everyone yes the mountains are high and the oceans are wide, it's a small world after all!
Good to know my primary school music education is fresh as the song was in Japanese on 'the small world' ride. Apart from that, that ride is awesome! So many animitronic people. And NZ is actually included (consists of two kiwis and a Maori in traditional dress). Cue squealing from Kristen and I. Yes we are 12. Well, you need to be in such a place.
Tokyo Disneyland is a 30 min train ride from the cbd. To be honest, arriving at the station and seeing Hotel Disney (dressed up to look like a castle from Versaille) and Cinderella's Castle is AWESOME!
Fantasyland was the place to be. This where rides about peter pan, snow white etc are located. I had a mission, to find Prince Charming. Well, I managed to see him from a distance but he appears to have shacked up with some blonde bimbo in a blue dress and glass slippers. Ah well, at least I got to sit on his throne.
Kristen and I managed to go on a few of the big famous rides including space mountain (thanks to fastpass), splash mountain (after a two hour queue) and haunted mansion (seriously cool special effects). We also went on the pirates of the caribean which ride must have been altered after the movie was released (the movie is actually based on the ride) as there was a very realistc Johnny Depp hanging out there.
Yes, we were exhausted after hours of queuing, rides, children and cherry music. Overall Disneyland can be summed up as entertaining, exciting and exhausting. Some of the special effects on the rides must really scare children. Steve, you will be happy to know I am all Disneyed out for at least a few months so you will probably be off the hook for LA Disney.
So after a long day, I had to pack. Once again, my flight was leaving early morning which meant I have to get up at sparrow's fart to get there in time. Off to Rome tomorrow!
