Last full day in Perth. We went to see Aus 2 with its famous wing keel yesterday. Perth is a cool place and very relaxed. Sailing would be ace!! Beats Aberdeen anytime.

Hello from very very hot Perth!

Currently sat in Sydney airport. We were up at 4.30am today but it's a 5 hour flight to Perth so we will hopefully catch up on some sleep. Had a great day in the sun at bondi beach yesterday. The aftersun is on nice and thick this morning :-) Temperature in Perth is 40 degrees!!

Happy New Year everyone!! James proposed!!! 2012 has been fantastic so far! New Years Eve at Sydney Harbour was amazing! Fireworks were fab (photos uploaded). We had great tickets for an amazing view from the botanic gardens, we couldn't have asked for better. We had a picnic and plenty of chilled White wine. A little fragile today but nothing an ice cream and a walk in the sunshine can't help. ps: I said yes!!!

Made it to Sydney! Yesterday was fab, drinking in the sun down at Sydney harbour, the atmosphere is ace. We are going to darling harbour today then Sydney harbour tonight to see new year in and watch the fire works. Happy Hogmanay everyone! x
