Ban Tai Beach, Thailand
Finally i have found some time to update this!
It's all been a bit hectic and crazy but we are having an incredible time!
Spent a few days in bangkok just sorting transport and seeing temples etc but we decided to get out of the hustle and bustle of the smelly city pretty sharpish.
So we set off on hour 18 hour coach journey....yuk! Suprisingly wasnt too painful, with fully reclining beds and blankets we tried to spleep for most of it.
We arrived in Koh Samui and checked into a little bungalow on the beach, after finding bugs and spider eggs and a cheaper cleaner option next door we only stayed one night and changed rooms for the next two. We got a bit of sunbathing and chilling in Koh Samui and went out each night and met tonnes of people. but koh samui is pretty touristy and we decided to get to Koh Phangan 'Stat'.
We arrived at our bungalows in Koh Phangan and were so pleased to find they wrer gorgeous and run by an english couple who seem to have thought of everything, the bungalows are really relaxed and nice and we seem to have created one big group of friends with everyone staying there. We attempted a boat trip yesterday but with a group of hungover backpackers and rough seas and rain we had to turn back and show the two australians in the group the 'Mason's Arms' English pub grub and spent the afternoon in there (How cultured! i think not - although we had a really good time and yorkshire puds so i was kept happy!)
We are all having a very quiet day today in preperation for the bbq this evening and then the full moon party! ..............
