Good luck in your search for work & finding a flat. Don't worry about the dead cockroaches, it's the live ones that you should worry about. Ha ha, Seriously I hope you find a nice place to live and settle. Maybe you should think about moving out of Sydney and find a smaller town.

Had a Halloween, Firework BBQ party last night and it poured with rain all day. So we cooked up in the car port and partied indoors. Despite the pants weather it dried up long enough to let off the fireworks, but the rest of the time we were indoors. The kids played bobbing for apples and a few other silly games in the carport too.

All in all the party was a success and I think everyone enjoyed themselves. There were almost 30 of us altogether, but luckily not too much mess to clear up this morning. I'm not sure where the cats hid, but they were both around this morning waiting for breakfast none the worse for the noise.

Feeling a tiny bit frail this morning (I wonder why?) So I'm going to watch the X Factor repeat then go back to bed with a great book that I'm reading. ZZzzzzzzzz
