Ok so we did the tour in Granada, that was quite interesting, it was just a little boat trip around part of the lake but we got to see some of the rich people's houses so that was cool. Then early Saturday morning we caught the bus from Granada to Managua and caught a Tica bus (a nice bus) to Tegucigalpa in Honduras. From there we were going to catch a bus straight to the Mayan ruins in Copan but as it turned out we couldnt do that so we got back on the tica bus and got that through to a place called San Pedro Sula, which was quite a horrible place really, very scary!! So we had to stay there over night because it was about 6pm by the time we got there so we checked into a hotel and everything and went and got some food. We caught the 8am bus to the ruins on the Sunday morning which took about 3hours so we checked into a hotel in Copan and set off for the ruins. To get to the ruins you have to get a taxi but its not a car taxi, there are these little cart things that are really cool and really cheap so they were cool. So we got to the ruins and it was quite expensive so we decided to pay just for the ruins and not get a guide, looking back now we wished we had got a guide but anyways it was a really good day and was interesting to see the ruins because some of them are really old and stuff so...it was good. It was boiling hot though so after we'd been round the ruins the cold beer went down very nicely! So we headed back to the town and back to our hotel, then we actually had to break into our hotel room because the other girl who hadn't come with us to the ruins had taken the key with her so we had to climb in the window which was quite fun. When we got back to the town we headed off and found an internet cafe.
