No news here really- on half term for 2 weeks so doing lots of fun stuff like painting and gluing and cleaning (the kids dont seem to be enjoying the last activity though??) . We are off on our hold this week for a week in salou, really lookin forward to portaventura!

Hellooooo....oh, so the neighbour took 10 minutes to answer the door as his music was so bloody loud, and I told him it was like living across the road from a rave, and could he please keep it down the damn music because it was driving me f***ing crazy...and I THINK it may have worked. The only over time it happened again, I was coming back from the shops and you could hear it all the way down the street. I slammed my door as I went in, intending to go over again, but as soon as I did, he stopped.

Basically if he starts again, we'll contact his landlord.

In other news, DC left me feeling sick and furious last week. Defoe comes out in the shops in a week and I've still a few more episodes left to do, having till July 14th to finish it, making it really tight. Then DC contact me about doing their Lego comic, needing it finished by EXACTLY the same day. Had a bit of a panic attack, then explained to them respectfully that I could make the final deadline, but I need a bit of understanding for the stages before that so I can finish Defoe.

I got a nasty email back sayiing"I don't know what Defoe is or who publishes it, but WE should be your main priority" and a load of crap about making a professional commitment to them...despite the fact that I've worked for 2000ad alot longer than for them.

Niki had to stop me from emailing them back, and basically talking my way out of a job. If they talk to me like that again though, I'll gladly quit.

Lovin your recent photos and recent blog entry. It's bank holiday weekend here so lots of drinking urrggghhhh felt rough yesterday. Was Sarah's birthday on Friday so went out in Liverpool...it was dead! But managed to go to a new Japanese resturant EtSU it is amazing we will have to go when you get back.

Life the same here too much work and no way near enough time or money to have fun :-(
