I wouldn't have missed this trip for quids, it was great. I consider myself reasonably fit, for a 65 year old, nevertheless I found it tough in places. The combination of the rough roads, the distances involved and the heat/humidity really made for a hard ride some days. On our last day in Yangon, Bob, Kerry and I hit the streets on foot. Due mainly to its colonial past Yangon is an interesting place architecturally, especially around the city centre. Sadly a lot of the old buildings are being knocked down to make way for concrete and glass monsters.
