Hello peeps!

Sorry we've not updated our site for a while.... been doing a fair bit of travelling (9 hour coach trip the other dqay!) and not had time to get online. Following Noosa, we did a day trip to Fraser Island which was amazing! the 4 wheel drive along the beach was wicked and Lake McKenzie was just stunning. Got some more nice pix of Fraser but not uploaded them yet - will do so later tonight along with any other cool pix from our travells up here to Cairns. We saw a MASSIVE lizard while we were eating our BBQ lunch at Fraser and i managed to get some close ups..... while all the poor poeple were oblivious to this huge thing lurking under their legs!! he he he

After Fraser, we coached back down to Brisbane and flew up to Whitsundays... WOW only the most stunning place in the world! It really was so beautiful and we did the day trip on the boat out to the famous Whitehaven beach and around the other islands. We went for a walk thru the rainforest up to the whitehaven lookout for some cool photos and then back down to sunbath ans swim on whitehaven beach..... it really takes your breath away..... and when we're sat back at work miserable - ill think of being there!!

We both realy wanted to do our first dive but unfortunaltely for me, i was told i couldn't do it because of my respiratory problems and bad ears - i couldnt pop them so he wasnt happy letting me go down :o(  gutted!  Vic though did hers and had a brilliant time - she's going to do anouther 2 dives here in Cairns out at the barrier reef day after tomorrow and im going snorkling like i did in whitsundays - still an amazing experience cuz the fish and the coral our out of this world!  Also... OH MY GOD..... we found out yesterday that where we'll be doing out snorkling and diving there a loads of reef sharks!!! AAAaaaahhhh!!!!  not crapping it at all! 

Anyway - i was so pee'd off that i couldn;t do my dive that i thought sod it - i'll do another skydive! So, yesterday, i booked up and did another 14,000ft skydive over mission beach!!!! it was mind blowing! even though it was 1,000ft lower, it was still the 60 seconds freefall so just as scary as the last one!  Also blew eighty quid on another DVD so Vic could see what i saw on the way down.... it was really stunning. I imagine i'm less terrified on this one too!!

We're now in Cairns at our final accommodation - which seems pretty cool with loads of people and buzzing atmosphere - back to basics here though after our rather spoilt week in Noosa and whitsundays! Finishing off as we should be though!! Vic hurt her shoulders and back carrying too many shopping bags the other day and has been really suffering with migrane and pains all yesterday poor love but after lots of relaxing and stuff last night she is starting to feel bit better. Going to find out where we can get a nice back massage today!

Got Cape Tribulation tour booked for tomorrow where we'll hopefully see crocodiles, kangeroos, wallabys and loads of other weird and wonderful oz creatures! can't wait! Also, got another day out on the boat next day where we are snorkling and Vic's diving so that should be great.
