Another lovely sleep-in.....Roger been to the gym.....breakfast watching the sea pass by. Calm and sunny again....how lucky are we. Still amazed at the colour of the water, found out why it is like that......the high salt content of the Mediteranean apparently.
Speaking of water....the water on the ship is so soft due to the fact it is de-salinated.
Our cute cabin steward 'refreshes' the room twice daily......where am I going to get one of those when I get home?
Off to the theatre to hear about history and what to expect when we visit Mykonos....very interesting insight.
Sanitisation and prevention still prevalent to try and prevent Norovirus....apparently they completely sanitised the ship before we boarded, according to some passengers that have been onboard since US.
Went to another talk on the navigation and bridge.....it costs $US1.5m to fill the diesel tanks! Thirsty girl.
Formal night tonight.....Roger's tuxedo didn't fit so they are trying to sort that out. All sorted, he looks cute!
Good night......sat with 6 more Americans, for some reason their eyes light up when you say you are from Australia......nice bunch, surprised how many are afraid to stay overnight in Cairo.....
Our waiter tonight asked Roger and I if we had been on the Sun Princess.....he said he recognised us, he was working on the Sun Princess when we went in the last cruise.....weird.
Up early and off to Egypt.
