Got a train to Hamble. Then Jenn picked me up from the station. I am taking part in round the island race on an all girl crew with 6 girls off Garmin (Jenn Lucy Caroline Jenny day holly and Catherine) then me and Caroline off Qingdao. Went shopping with Jenn then the rest of the crew turned up had dinner in the king and queen pub then a night on the boat.

Landed at 12. Had a private taxi booked to hotel staying at jiva beach resort. Arrived around 1.30 checked in then met up with Sam Dean Lawrence Tania had lunch. Lovely hotel right on the beach. Had a swim in the sea bit hazy but warm. Meal in the restaurant in the evening then good to get into bed as so tired

Left Australia on 25th at midday got a flight to Hong Kong took 7 hours. Had 4 hours before our next flight but as we were on stand by couldn’t check in til an hour before. Managed to get on but in economy class was a long flight 12 hours slept on and off watched a few films Landed at Heathrow at 5.30am on 26th April so had been flying for 19 hours! Had the family round for Sunday lunch then Connor drove us to the airport. Had stand by tickets for Hong Kong from Si but managed to get upgraded to upper. Took off at 21.5 had meal good Sleep and watched 2 films. Was the best flight I have ever had considering it was 11 hours. Just love flying upper. They even gave out pyjamas! Landed an hour early in Hong Kong 9am on Monday morning uk time but 4pm in Hong Kong. We are here for 2 days then fly to cairns in Aust...

Landed at 6.30am slept a little on the flight Connor picked us up. Good to be home. Gave Freya and Joey their t shirts they were so happy to see us. So was scooby he had missed us to. We have decided to go away every January to somewhere warm such a lovely way to start a new year
