Woke at 8 went for breakfast in the hotel. America breakfast bit rubbish consisted of slice of ham eggs and Chipolater sausages! Had a swim in the pool didn’t stay in there long as it was cold. Got picked up at 12.45 and taken to the boat. Had a 2 hour boat trip to phi phi Island. It was where the film the beach was filmed looked like paradise. I was surprised at how many on the boat it was packed and lots of young travellers ! Got to phi phi and a taxi boat ...

Up at 7 coffee in the room then packed. Looking forward to leaving Bangkok seems a bit crazy here. Got a taxi to the airport. Our flight was delayed. Whilst we were at the airport bought the boat trip and booked taxis for phi phi island. Arranged to have a taxi pick us up from the airport when we landed in Phuket which I’m glad we did. Whilst stopping to look at the map for the way to the royal palace got chatting to a local who managed to sell a tuk tuk ride and a boat trip we thought he was being helpful then worked out we had paid £33 each for it.
