Lots of children used to swim in the river, we also ha a couple of kayaks out one day and went for an explore along the small rivers.

Today we left the Villa at Arcachon and drove north to Royan where we got the ferry across the estuary. From there we drove a little more to our new holiday house in Mornac sur Seudre. The village is really quaint and has lots of small arts and craft shops, all the houses are white washes with blue shutters. The village is built alongside the River Seudre, and our house is right next to the river. We are staying here for a week. Its perfect for the boys to ride ...

The children decided to bury Stuart!!

We took Lyne and Brian and the girls over with us to Cap Ferrett on the ferry and had a great meal, between us we had oysters,mussels,grilled fish and many other nice things including a few bottles of wine and some nice desserts!!
