Arrived in Lake Tahoe early afternoon. Staying in a log cabin lodge for two nights for a change. We have done a bit of shopping already as I needed to get a warm top as it is slightly nippy here! Drove upto Yosemite yesterday from Lake Isabella. Stayed in RV last night and had a full day at the Park today. Had a full days hiking today. Walked up on the 'easy' route to Yosemite Falls (The waterfall in the photos). It took us 1 1/2 hours to walk up to the elevation of 995ft mountain but it was well worth the view at the top of Yosemite Falls. We went on a helicopter ride today over the grand canyon, the hoover dam and las vegas today. Jaw dropping views as you can see from the photos. We were sat at the front so had the best seats and photos. Strangely I wasn't scared but probably because I was sitting next to the pilot (Trent!!) who was tall dark and handsome.. We have landed in Vegas! Very surreal, lots of neon. Met up with Michael's step brother, David who stopped with us in the RV. Went out on the town in Vegas which was an experience. Bellagio water fountains and the Venician were amongst our favourites.

Woke up at 5 am and went to see the sunrise at the Grand Canyon. It was freezing but well worth it. Something we will never forget. Then we set off to Las Vegas via the Hoover Dam. I drove the RV too, which was very cool but slightly scary driving a high sided vehicle on a windy day! Drove to the Hoover Dam and went on a tour.
