Hi Heather & Bob
Happy New Year from Edinburgh. Great to read about your journey but have to tell you about how much snow you've missed this Christmas/New Year (would exchange places with you in a heartbeat) - Bella (dog) having a ball. Along with sand, snow has to be her favourite under-paw experience. Such a romantic style of reporting Heather - perhaps you've missed your vocation. Keep telling us about day to day life. Look forward to next chapter. Love B&R

Happy New Year 2010 to you both when it arrives with you in a few hours. Safe Journeying and best wishes.
I return to work on Monday after a 6 1/2 week break after op on my hand. Only started driving a few days ago despite the snow and ice here. It's been a very slow end of year for me and the weather hasn't helped as I've been very cautious about going out and about. Here comes 2010! Let's make the best of it.
Carol
sorry Heather but you cannot take that elephant home with you! xx

Season's Greetings. I am absolutely loving the photos. You both look so "at home" and relaxed. The one of Heather and the elephant is stunning!

a belated merry Christmas! We are full of snow here. Bonnieville is fine...there are a few stand offs in the kitchen...the dog is terrified of her....and Kes the oldest cat here doesn't like her one bit so we have to keep them as separate as possible. Apart from that she's fine. Had blood test and will pick up passport for her...just have been madly busy what with work and home. You know what it's like. Hope you two are fine and having a wonderful time! lots of love Glenys and Donald

Will send you a 'longer' email - but just brief message wishing you a belated Happy Christmas (this message eqates to my usual 'late' Christmas Card). It sounds as if you're almost believing that you're now 'away' for sometime and acclimtising to your new way of life - envious or what? Off to email you now.
Morag
A belated very Merry Christmas to you both (phone line on the blink so have been unable to use the internet). Hope you are both having a fantastic time. Looking forward to more stories and photos......we all need some cheering up with the view we have outside....heavy snow.
