hello nanny and grandad , i did get very sunburnt but it is starting to go down now i did not quit relise how strong the sun was over here. I have been putting on loads of suncream now.

It it very pretty here, very hot aswell. We have been into perth city alot and looking around alot we both really like Perth.

We have got ourselves an apartment and i have a job now :) .

Thank you , we are still deciding on what to do for my birthday/valentines day, we may go for a meal or something :) .

hi mum and dad, the rat looking thing is a quokka they do look very much like a rat but bigger but abit cuddlier looking.
ye i am starting to look like a backpacker now i think, i dont even bother doing my hair and makeup most days(hope no one i no see's me looking like this!) ha ha!

Ye is abit of a strange name aparently 6000years ago it was joined to the coast of scarborough so u used to be able to walk to it. there were loads of people there but cos theres so many beaches they were scatterd about. Yep think that is the way to go, we were getting loads of offers for apartments for gresat prices but they all turned out to be scams. Quite looking forward to our one night of luxury! will keep you updated.

Dad says that is NOT a rat its a possum??!! in which case they are quite cuddly. The Island looks lovely, wish we were there. I think you are looking like a backpacker now and i love the hat!!
I sorted out your insurance Emma. Dad has tried to look up what a possum looks like but can't find it! so maybe it is a rat. Lets hope they are not near the toilets by your hostel.

Rottnest! strange name for such a beautiful place and so few people too!
If you can find a nice appartment and cheaper too thats the way to go,good luck!
Don't get too used to the luxury of the hotel though! enjoy it while you can.
