Elias- Elias is also 4 months old, and has been at CONIN since the middle of November. He was left somewhere, (I am not sure where exactly) but his mother had some sort of mental disability that was passed on to him. I'm really not sure of all the details. But he has trouble opening his hands. He is always very stiff, with his hands toward his body. His hands are always in fists and he has trouble opening them (you can see in the photo he has a fist). For therapy we use different toys, with different textures, on his hands to get him to get used to opening them. Elias has an older sister that lives with his grandfather. As of now, his mother can't take care of him so he may live with his grandfather as well. But again I am not really sure. Elias is always smiling! He will stare at you for hours and is a fairly happy baby. He is actually a little difficult to feed because sometimes he just won't stop smiling!
