Arrived on the evening of the 12th and left here midday on the 14th. We were allocated a cabin at this campground with just the two of us which was a nice change (showering only two girls in the morning is sooo much easier than four, especially when the other two don't speak English). Italy was a bit of a let down initially after the beauty of Switzerland. After crossing the border it just seemed to turn into some dirty ugly flat country with crazy angry people and toilets with duct tape to hold on the door k*** . The boat ride over from Dover was sweet as. Found me some Ben & Jerrys ice cream on the boat which I got super excited about. Om nom. Bit of a long drive from Calais to Paris got stuck in some pretty intense Paris traffic and saw some funny things from others stuck in traffic especially the truck drivers. Had a guided flight over the river Thames which was brilliant. Figured out our oyster card top ups which line we needed to be on to get into hammer smith. Mission of a wary walk to the myoe hostel only to find someone not overly expecting us but got to our room and slept mega soundly. was nice to be somewhere familiar. A long sleep tonight 5 hours.
