Hi guys

Well we made it to America! We landed in New York on Sunday night and got the famous yellow taxi to the hostel. We then spent our first full day doing to typical touristy things. We mastered the subway and went up the Empire State Building, (lots of pictures to follow i promise!). Then we went to Battery park in Brooklyn and saw the Statue of Libert herself in the glorious sunshine! Ground Zero was our next stop which was very sad to see where the building used to be and what the'yre doing to re-build it. Jet lag then set in so we went to Central Park and lounged about it the sun writing our diaries etc. We have found New York VERY expensive so we decided to move onto Chicago. We arrived here today after 18 hours on a greyhound with the great unwashed of america but it was well worth it. I much prefer Chicag to New York, not as expensicve, friendlier and hotter! It's great. So were booked into a hostel for tonight and are looking into campsites to see if we can cut costs even more. So i best be off back out into the sunshine, at the moment its so obvious were english due to the white legs!! I'll try and update pics asap!
