Dad forgot to mention that we saw the biggest bird in Florida fly yesterday - the Eandeavour successfully launched from Cape Canaveral last night and we had a good view from our front porch again.

By the way, we saw your "batman bird" yesterday (in fact a pair) flying over the intracoastal waterway by Anna Maria Island. We agree with you that it almost certainly was the the "Magnificent Frigatebird" - it certainly lives up to its name.

Not quite a Tilley hat, we went for the budget option - we are backpackers so have to cut corners! Katie has one too, to go with our his & hers walking shoes, wallets and trainers - middle age is setting in ;-)

Hey there little gorgeous nephew!!

I'm very impressed you can now sit up - just be careful of those wiggling feet when you're sitting -although I'm sure they're very interesting to watch now that you can see them properly!! Teeth will become very useful in time when you start enjoying the likes of chocolate, biscuits and other healthy snacks so have patience, and in the meantime try not to eat your hands - you will also find these useful.

Most impressed that you can do the maths needed to post this message, I had to use my fingers to work this one out.....

I like your pretty pictures from Australia and am glad you are having a good time. Mummy and Daddy are very jealous.

I can't wait to show you all my new tricks when you get back at Christmas. I can roll over, and sit up myself now(although need to be careful not to topple over when I wiggle my legs around). I also have 2 and a bit teeth. Not sure why I need them though. They get in the way when I'm sucking my thumb.
