Hello Adam Hope things are going well. Sounds like you are having a great time in Beijing. Are you planning to go to Xian ( Terraccotta Army )? it is well worth going ( Howard says ) Have you heard that County have had eight straight wins without conceding a goal. Hi Adam, just read your latest journal entry - really brought tears to my eyes. It reminded me of the 1st time the Rucksack went travelling round Asia. Quick update on the real world - Jennie swam 25m today on her back which is great considering it's only Wed. and on Mon. she'd not even swam 10m! Blair is promising to pull the troops out of Iraq by Xmas, now for the biggy - Britney has had her head shaved!!!!, Kylie has donated some frocks to the V & A, oh and your results came back - all clear but the dr recommends a cream for the itch!!!!!!!! Anyway, keep the journal updated. I look back on mine now and can't believe 'I' did some of that stuff. Record as much detail as possible. Hope you are enjoying Bejing. Your mum's been keeping us updated on your progress. Barry is really jealous that you went to Russia its one of his dreams to go to Russia one day. It must all be very exciting especially the hustle and bustle of China. Make the most of your adventure you'll look back on it all with really fond memories one day, well when you're as old as me you will. Photo's are great particulary like your big Russian hat. Hi Adam, one other little tip - if you suddenly get ill, stomach pains etc in a restaurant and the owner tells you he knows a dr. - don't go to him. Find a hospital. It's usually a scam that gives you a little bit of the trots (harmless really) but the dr. will prelong it a couple of days and then they fleece your medical insurance!!! Anyway - not to worry eh??!!! So how's it going? Were dead dead jealous. Just booked 10 days to Greece in June. A world away from what your doing. Hope Russia wasn't too cold. Things here not too bad. Jennie has just swam 10m on her back and jumped in at the deepend without arm bands. She's dead proud. Off to buy her a present now. Hi Adam, welcome to BEIJING!! hope the train journey went well! I bet it will be luxury just to take a shower and to sleep in a proper bed!! We went to celebrate Chinese New Year in Manchester yesterday (as well as your Dad's 50th birthday of course!!), It seemed funny to be surrounded by so many chinese faces, do you know what i mean??? I would prefer to have celebrated it in BEIJING!!( Hope you caught some of the celebrations too!! ) By the way how many bicycles are there in BEIJING?? (as many as i sing??)
