Hi Zena & Kirstie, good to read your news from Australia. I thought that Perth was a lot warmer, but apparently it can get quite cold. Tracey is now 18 weeks and the baby has started to kick. Gary is making sure that she is eating well - bless him. It is only a week away now Bill and I will be heading for Tahiti and some warm weather - looking forward to some relaxation on the cruise. Enjoy yourselves and stay well. Love Shona & Bill

Hi Kirstie,
I do wish I could find more time to devote to this email lark - the days seem to get shorter and shorter. However, now I've started, let's get on with it! Thanks for yours, by the way. Yes I did like Bolivia, even though there were a couple of hairy moments (nothing to compare with your bike ride, eek!). Will talk when you get home. Did they tell you the story of the bowler hats? I see you are now in Aussie land. I did enjoy my trip there but didn't get to the west side. Will save that for another time. Hope to have your Mum and Dad over for a nosh soon and will, no doubt, be talking about their proposed holiday when they come to see you. When is your deadline for coming back to reality!!!? My holiday this year is very prosaic compared with your wanderings. I'm going with my small group to the Baltics - Finland, Latvia and Estonia. Have to recoup after my expensive trip last year.! Well, that's about it for the moment - you'll be glad to know we've had a very disappointing Spring and Summer weatherwise. Just send some some of that Aussie sun when you get into the middle- please! All for now - lots of love - Gai (that stands for Great Aunt Isobel) xxxxx

Clearly, Easter Island looks nothing like Tresco, there are very few trees for a start and 2 hippos with statues carved in their image!

Hi Kirstie!
The bike ride sounds amazing! Much more tasking (and exotic) than the Nottingham to Belvoir bike ride that was on at the weekend. You seem to be having such a fab time you have inspired me to book a holiday... even if it is only in Europe - I have to escape!
Keep the adventures coming and look after yourself! BEC
Dad And Anne
Hi Z and K Have just looked at your photos of wmdr. Looks exciting!! You both look great. The exercise is doing you both good and setting you up for your future adventures. Enjoy your trip to Easter Island. With best wishes Dad and Anne
John In Belgium
World'smost dangerous road? I don't think so. A mere 3000 meterdrop is nothing compared to the E19 at 07:30 in the morning going from Brussels to Antwerp. 10000 Crazed Belgium drivers (sorry to all Belgians reading but you know it's true) driving at 160Km/h 10cm from the car in front. Now that's what I call an adrenaline rush :-)
Good to see you both have started the slightly crazy side of the holiday. All this wine, food, relaxing......I was getting a bit worried you were both...dare I say it... maturing! There I said It!
Phew, lucky I was proved wrong. Keep it up ladies.

Finally found some time to read the latest news . Although, latest ! Apparently I'm not the only one who lacks
time . You're really experiencing a lot that all of us here can only dream about ( I definetely don't dream about ice in my trousers). Keep up the fun and keep us updated !
