We arrived at Surf Camp at about 2pm, I had been looking forward to this for ages so was really excited. The guys that worked there came onto the bus and theyseemed really nice. We checked into our rooms which were nice then headed straight out to get our wetsuits and surf boards. I looked really attractive in mine.

We got our boards and the instructors went through the theory with us, we had to practise on the beach first before going in the sea which felt a bit weird. After about half an hour we headed into the sea.

At first I couldn't stand without falling but still really enjoyed trying apart from the fact I think iswallowed most of the sea!! By the end of the lesson I had managed to stand about 3 times which I was really pleased with.

After the lesson we had a really nice meal then a few drinks. We were told we had to be quiet at 10pm so a few of us headed down to the beach. It was really nice sitting on the beach with a few drinks, Chris took a guitar down there as well which was cool.

The next morning we were up at 7am for our last lesson before leaving that evening. I was much better today, and managed to stand up nearly every time! It was so much fun, I loved it and didn't want to get out. There was a guy taking pictures for a dvd that you could buy so me and Kat surfed in on the same wave so we could have a picture together, we even manage to hi five which was cool. Kat got a bit cocky though and tried to handstand!!!!

The instructor kept trying to tell us to get out as we had to go but we just pretended we thought she was waving at us so waved back and carried on, it was quite funny. Eventually we had to go though.

We headed off that afernoon to Barrington.
