It's Hannah and i've been really lazy and let Lucy do all the writing so far, but the latest uodate is that we're in Sydney (as of 30 hours ago) and we think we might already have found a shared appartment for our 2 month stay here in the city centre with a swimming pool downstairs. Think it might be a bit too good to be true, but we'll see. tomorrow we have to find jobs. Slight issue! It's 2am and we've just written some highly exaggerate CVs (well I have at least!).
We like Sydney; it feels a lot more like home than S.E. Asia funnily enough and the large number of immigrant ethnic communities means there's load of great food about... we no longer have to worry if we actually eating vegetables or cockroaches. Though a 1000 year old egg Lao dish we tried was a particular favourite! And i don't think you have to share buses with live and dead chickens here, or bribe Vietnamese policemen.
So really all is well and we're glad to be staying still for a while. Oh, have checked by the way and the water does indeed go the other way (anti-clockwise) down the drain.
Miss you all xxx
