Tolcott Mountain State Park, Bloomfield, Connecticut
This morning was perfect! Warm weather, no humidity- the best weather for hiking. Today's hike was at Tolcott Mountain State Park in Bloomfield, CT. It is about a 2 mile hike each way; and for company I had my best friend/ sorority sister Amanda Jacques with me. Besides giving us tome to catch up, the hike was a decent workout. At the top of the mountain is an old tower; with the best views of northeastern CT! On a clear day, like today, you can see all the way to Springfield MA!! We stopped on our way to the park at a bagel place and picked up lunch. Once we'd reached the tower we took a break and ate, then wandered around before heading back down. It was a great, pretty simple hike that I would love to do again sometime!!
