I got here two days ago and absolutely love it. We have 30°C sunshine and the atmosphere here is amazing. I have 20 people in my group, and we've been able to do most things all together so far, so we're really getting to know each other.
We went on a floating market boat trip yesterday all through the local people's houses built on stilts and little ladies would row up to you on wooden boats full of souvenirs for you to buy, we stopped off at an orchid farm too to have a look around. Then in the afternoon we went to one of the temples, with the huge golden Buddha lying down in it, it was absolutely huge and really beautiful.
Last night we managed to find somewhere to eat and made friends with the Jack Johnson 'sound a like' musician who was singing all sorts in the bar, I think he liked our loud support! We went to some bars after that and made a lot of Ozzie friends, scrapped the no drinking ice already as we all shared buckets of Mai Tai's. Then we found a half bar half club and had a really good night dancing away.
All the girls have been shopping down Koh San Road this morning, stocking up on dresses because it's really hot, it's lovely, haven't felt warm for ages!
We're going to our ecohouse in a couple of hours to start our 4 weeks of activities, I'm running out of time on my internet connection so might have to add some photos next time on here, but having an amazing time and can't wait to move on to Singburi.
