Just doing some catch up with the blogs today, Adam and Luke are off skiing in the Remarkables but once again i've come down with tonsilitus and dont feel up to a great deal. Surviving though, shall be back on the slopes tomorrow i hope!
This Brisbane blog is bound to be uncreative and rather brief, partly because i feel like death and partly because we didnt actually do anything while we were there! So...
Still with our friends from Fraser Island we hopped on the bus down to Brisbane, all of us knowing exactly what we wanted to do while we were there, nothing. We were all tired and ready for a "city break", exactly what Brisbane had to offer. For the few days we were there we just wandered around taking in the sights, had a few drinks in the evening to sample the night life and retired to "Bunk" the single greatest hostel we've stayed in to date.
From hearing others comments about Brisbane from all those we encountered travelling north up the coast we were ready to arrive at a city that had little to offer and was mainly described as "boring". The truth is, Brisbane doesnt have that much to offer but if a chilled out few days in a really very nice city is what your after then there arent many places that fit the bill better than Brisbane.
It was time to say goodbye to the fantastic group of friends we met in Fraser and onwards we went on our seperate ways. Sydney was the next destination for us, i'll leave that for Adam to tell you about though.
