From the mountains of Idaho we drove west into the rolling wheat fields of SE Washington, back in our home state!
We stopped for the night in Walla Walla to check out the town and visit Haley's friend Ryan. We spent the evening searching for good beer in snobby wine bars. Having almost given up we finally made our way to the tasting room of a local brewery: Laht Neppur of Waitsburg, WA. (they distribute to Portland but not Seattle, boo)
After spending the night parked in a quiet neighborhood in the center of town we checked out the farmers market and hit the road.
On the way we had to make a few stops for necessities: hot sauce in Pasco, beer and brewing supplies at Ice Harbor Brewery in Kennewick, fresh hops and fry sauce in Yakima.
We're now on the familiar I-90 heading into the Cascades, bound for Seattle!
