Hey all its Garry again reporting from Hoi An :) Its our last day here, after a hectic 2 days of spoiling ourselves rotten! We caught the bus from Nha Trang at 7.30pm on Monday and arrived on Hoi An at 7.00am. Weve got to say it was the most uncomfortable journey ever! The bus driver started using his horn at 4.30am in the morning (they use their horn here every time they are overtaking someone, even a bicycle!) and there was a random vietnamese man who was blasting his music out until the early hours so no sleep was had! We have spent 2 days exploring Hoi An, they have over 200 tailors here who will make anything to fit within a day! We have both bought a suit, we have had our first fitting this morning and we have another one later this afternoon. We look very smart! We have also bought some leather tailor made sandals that we are picking up later today for just over 2 pounds each. Hail has found out she has one foot bigger than the other! Weve been sampling vietnamese food including white roses and wontons which were great! Hail ordered a grilled fish in banana leaf yesterday and it came with a head and tail, needless to say, i ended up eating it!! We move onto Hue early tomorrow morning but the bus journey is only 5 hours so thats a relief. Apparently Hue has some of the best food in Vietnam so we are both looking forward to that! We will update with pictures when we find a computer that will accept our camera.
Gems - Sorry to hear about your break in, Mum told us at least no one was hurt and they only took a couple of things. Weve bought you a great pressie yesterday, something unique and kind of funky looking so im sure you'll like it!! We wont be posting any more stuff home though so we'll give it to you when we get back
Sian - Bet your hair looks lovely!! Have you ate all your easter eggs yet? We are still craving chocolate so we plan to stuff ourselves when we get back!! :)
