Wow, another exciting day! I even lost an ear somehow, but I'm okay. It's only a wee flesh wound. We checked out of the hotel in Dublin this morning, crossed the boarder into Northern Ireland (didn't even realize when we crossed it), went through Belfast up to the Giant's Causeway coastal road. We drove that scenic coast until we got to the Carrick-a-rede rope bridge (which looked just like the one in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom - and yes, we did cross it). After that we drove down the coast and saw the amazing Giant's Causeway. Then we stopped by the Dunluce castle, a castle in ruins but one you can walk through. After that we had a 4 hour drive to Galway. We just got here and are exhausted from the long, fun day.
We are so thankful for the great weather we've had the last two days. The locals can't believe we've had two such great days in a row. My hosts have rain gear, but I unfortunately do not. I guess now there is a little less of me to get wet, with my ear gone and all.
Good night!
