Met Jonathan at the hostel in Cancun. He'd jus turned 18 and travelled alone to Mexico to spend a few days before heading onto Guatemala to learn Spanish for 5 weeks. Got to give him respect as he's so young but knows learning a third language (he's Canadian so speaks French and English) will aid him when he completes his international Business course at Uni. Hopefully we'll bump into him in Guatemala and see how much he's come out of his shell as in the few hours we were with him he'd come on leaps and bounds! PS his mother was from Sheffield so there was an instant common ground when we were asked to show him how to get to the beach....we ended up sneaking him into the beach club with us :-)
