Well guys the cruise sounds fantastic,what a great time you seem to be having. I agree with you about Venice, we thought it was a great place--best in Italy.Can't wait to hear what you think of Prague as Ken and I have booked to go next June, along with a river cruice from bucharest to vienna. Had a good laugh about Martin's icecream--we had a similar experience but with an orange in Italy--10euro! Keep on having fun!

Home from our trip and have enjoyed catching up on your photos and blog. It sounds like you are having an awesome time. I loved the Rome blog and photos as I was able to recognise all the sites, even the Statue of Libery, whom we saw often.

Am definately in love with Italy and can't believe how diverse all the places are. Agree with you that Venice was a dream. Just so different and a lovely way of life.

We loved Florence and our apartment overlooked the Duomo and centre square so we had a lot of fun watching the world go by. Real bummer about David, as he was really something to see. With all the statues, Rachel has had a real anatomy lesson, and now has the whole thing down pat!!

Mart, I apologise, but I did get a good laugh out of your 'cheap' icecream and it made us feel better. After a lovely dinner we too popped in for a gelati at a very popular shop and should have realised it was the only one we had been into that didn't have prices listed, yep, two 'small' icecreams was 14 euros, not happy Jan. But we feel better now, thanks Mart!

Hoping the diet of croisants and pizza isn't playing too much havic with you. At least you get to do lots of walking to compensate.

Hope you are not overdoing it!

Kerry, the Prada bag purchase, very cool, after a lot of looking I didn't end up buying one, but that is okay, caught up with Anna today and did a rather significant amount of damage there to make up for it - oops!

Here we are, in Broome, miles from any real civilisation or internet connection, and we can find the time to write. Hope that your trip continues to be wonderful and full of discovery for you both. We are coming to the end of our wonderful trip which has been great with temps above 40 degrees most days, crocodiles more abundant than croissants, and scenery that is awesome. Have to show you the pics whenn you get back to aussie.
