Bus was not that bad, we survived on a packet of crisps a packet of biscuits and a bottle of drink ! Didn't want to eat or drink too muck incase we needed the toilet ( Grace's bladder is weak enough) Eat in the hotel (i've got another name for it)was up early to see "Meherangarh Fort" a really imposing fort, built on the top of a mountain overlooking the city, it can be seen from miles away.
It was very well run with really good audio guides (times are changing) Grace was really impressed with it !!
After we went to the city market, it went on for miles up and down little lanes radiating from a central square, I managed to get a English to Indian plug adapter (after a lot of miming of me putting things in holes) and Grace liked the Indian trousers.
Got a tuk tuk to the Royal Palace, only to discover it is closed to the public for ten days (as the royals are having a knees up) back to hotel for a rest, then went for a walk and braved a few snacks from the street vendors (got to go I need the toilet) lol
