Me again. Longlet was good, didn't get attacked by the monkeys though, probably a good thing! Loved Byron Bay, shame the tent got flooded out while we were there. Only had time to stay for two nights because of the whole spending too much time on the Gold Coast ie Surfers Paradise. Could easiely spend a couple of weeks in Byron. Please please please before you leave get a chance to go up to the lighthouse. Not only is it the most easterly point of Australia but there are a group of residential Dolphins that can be seen playing in the surf off the rocks below the lighthouse. Quite often with the surfers too. Good place for spotting Humpbacks too, but don't think it is the right time of year for that. Get a great view of the huge bay, you just have to take a look. Ah I could live in Byron Bay, there also have loads of outdoor music festivals though out the year. Anyway Enjoy xxxx I will be so gutted to hear if you didnt have time to go to the lighthouse. Glad you enjoyed Bondi-Coogee. Swear Bondi is like Scarbourough or something with Sunshine, maybe thats why all the Brits leave there. Anyho rambled on long enough. Next stop Gold Coast?

Hey Hun,
Didn't to an offical wine our as such, because Nat had a family link out in the Hunter, who had his own vineyard and knew everybody and everything about the valley. So we got a free tour around just about every vineyard there was. We were both pissed by 11.00am, as the coach out of Sydney central left quite early, it takes a couple of hours to get there. It's not all that, but still I different view to New South Wales and very green. Still very pretty, so might be worth a trip out, beside you and Andy might be able to find a nice hotel out there if you want something different to the hostels. Wink wink!!! Anyway off to Longlet now, so will email you soon.
Love Ya

Nikkos you are so damn good at keeping in touch with messages in emails I really appreciate it! I like Sydney but not as much as Melbourne, but maybe thats coz I lived there so got to know it more. Have been to the botanic gardens - how cool are the bats and the liazrds! Also seen some crazy street performers and Paddys market! Don't know if I will get round to another night out, as I want to do so much sightseeing in the day! Was planning the Bondi-Coogee walk for tom, its so hot right now - really humid too! Need to buy a bikini in Bondi as I left mine on a lake beach on my trip up here when I went wake boarding! Me and Andy are going to the Blue Mountains and maybe the Hunter Valley too when we visit Sydney - did you do a winery tour in the Hunter Valley? Did you do to the Sydney museum or the Australian museum? Am thinking of going to both, but would value your opinion of course! Wasn't gonna do the aquarium as I am always going to wildlife places at home. Am defo going to Steve Irwins zoo in Queensland though! Take care babe, hope all is well. God I have written loads!!! Luv G xxxx

Hey Hun,
Can't remember if I have already said to you, but if the weather is ok and you get time I would strongly recommend the Coogee-Bondi Beach walk, only takes about 2 hours and it is beautiful. Good excuss to get fish and chips at the end. Hope you enjoy Sydney, I loved it and looking back really miss it now. You haven't got long but do try and get the ferry to Manly beach and catch the return back to circular quay around 5pm to catch fab sunset behind the harbour bridge (although may need to check this as times may have changed). Worth checking out Darling harbour, but if you haven't got the time or money I would give the aquaium a miss-thought it would be better to be honest. You also need to check out Scruffy Murphy's- Irish bar on George St, if you haven't already been there and Kings Cross can be good for night out-World Bar, although you get some dodgy charcters aswell, alright if you are open minded. You would enjoy a walk around the botanical gardens, although you have done a few now, the views out over the harbour are nice. Oh and look out for the markets by the opera house and the street performers down on circular quay. Think thats about all. Your mission to try a smoothie from Boost. Not cheap but yummy. Oh i wish I was back in Sydney so much. Will you get a chance to go to the hunter valley or the blue mountains. Think you can pay for a day trip out to the mountains with Oz experience.
Miss you hun
Take Care

Hello Gracifer
Just looked at your photo's too. Great Ocean Road looks soooo much warmer than when I was there. It pi**ed it down everytime we got off the coach to take photo's. Was nice to see what your little pad looks like, the little black-black-furball next to me says Meow to the big-black-furball at your house. Must help to make it feel more homely there in Melbourne. Did my course for the Whale/Dolphin Stranding exercise last Sunday. If you get a moment you should check out the website www.bdmlr.co.uk. So I am now a reconised as a trained Marine Mammal Medic-how cools that! Well I think so anyway but then I am wield.
Miss you
Lots Of Love
Nikki
PS Thanks for your emails
