Hi Grace,
Looking forward to hearing how that kiwi pavlova turns out - sounds delicious! Much more interesting than Christmas pud! Nelson sounds a lovely town with beautiful scenery all around it. What a fascinating part of the world you are staying in. Louise is very much looking forward to meeting up with you in NZ if you are still there when she comes through on the Kiwi Experience!
Have an interesting NZ build up to Christmas. It's cooold here!
Best wishes to you, Clairex

Giant eels?!?!?!?!?! It will improve your swimming skills if you see one come towards you! Leeds vs Southampton on Saturday, should be a cracker. Enjoy your walk to work..

Grace!
I hope you are well, sorry I havent posted for a while!!
Things are good here, it is getting colder every day. I went to Saints at the weekend - we won 3-0!! Although the scoreline doesnt really reflect the game as we werent that amazing... although Lambert scored a blinding free kick!! Everyone was cheering 'Lambert for England!'
I booked a trip to New York today with Helen Capp which will be good, we managed to get a pretty cheap deal. I need to know all the good places to go so send me an email!! [email protected] . I also reserved two beds in the hostel you stayed at (although can cancel before). Would you recommend the hostel? I imagine we will be out all day and night but would be good to know if it is good or not - it was more expensive that others but if it is centrally located then i dont mind! xxxxxxxx
ps: glad you got the parcel!! dont open presents until Xmas day!!
Laura

Grace,
Lucy told me about your blog the other day so I had to have a look and see how you are getting on. Pretty well, clearly. Enjoy the rest of your travels and we'll see you when you get back. Some very nice pictures by the way. I'm very jealous as I've only been to some of the places.

Yes we hada good time with H and J, and Edmund and C drove me. VERY cold day walking along the sea front. Now we are in for more gales and the rain is torrential. Guess what, David is taking Jack to the Saints match on Sunday against Brighton. (Hope there is not too much trouble!) Also hope the weather improves.
What fun you are having, though hope you get work soon.
Luv as always Granny and Grandad XXXXxxxxxxxxxxx

Lovely to read about your time in Nelson. We do envy you - youngsters never did this when we were young. BUT we enjoy going off in our caravan and exploring. Just spent a week in Malvern in lovely autumn weather with beautiful colours in the trees. We 'climbed' to the top of Worcestershire Beacon (actually walked up the easy side). Then we went on to Cambridge where my grandaughter started in September, reading Forensics and Criminology. She's enjoying it and has made lots of friends.
Look after yourself. All our love Joy and Humphrey
