Thankfully my prayers to the Gods at the Man Mo Temple in Hong Kong were answered and Rea and I made it to Yangshuo in one piece, after a very scary 10 hour journey on a Chinese 'sleeper bus'!! HK After the scrummy eggs and delicious luncheon meat (...they call that a cooked breakfast!!!) we settled into our hotel room. Views among the sky scrapers were specatular and we even had power shower. Knew we had set our sights too high, as we would later find out. :-( Hong Kong was spent doing all the tourists things and more. Impossible to mention every experience, but will try a few... Chilled evening spent in Heathrow, drinking at the pub. Hectic morning next day trying to check in and get seats together on the plane....Thanks Qantas!!
