Sipping some mate. Came into this very small town to check out some ancient paintings on some rocks. Ended up at this house out in the country. They were incredible nice to me. I had lunch with them, which was a typical thick soup and some barbeque as well. Then one guy who worked around there took me to the paintings. By horse. It was awesome. At the end of the day, when they gave me a ride back into town to catch a bus out of there and into a larger town, I tried to pay for all that they had done for me, a little something at least. They were having none of that. They said they were very happy to have done it and wished they could have done more. Great folk there.
